Warehouse Store person / Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Store person / Forklift Operator to join our client at Kilsyth. Our client has over 60 years’ experience in garage door innovation, and offer a comprehensive range of automatic garage doors, roller doors, garage door openers.



Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Handling long-length materials (training provided on conveyor attachment)
• Completing daily forklift pre-start inspections
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Ensuring loads are secure and compliant with safety requirements
• Receiving, dispatching, and putting away stock
• Moving goods, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse
• Working with warehouse racking systems
• Conducting stock takes and inventory checks
• Using pallet jacks and trolleys
• Stacking stock and empty pallets safely
• Inspecting products and materials to ensure packing standards are met
• Assisting with general warehouse duties and housekeeping
• Manual handling of products up to 20kg
• Operating an overhead crane (full onsite training provided)

About You

• Current LF Forklift License
• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
• Looking for a potential long-term opportunity
